WebJun 22, 2024 · The generator will shut down after 2-3 hours of run time. It will restart but only for a few seconds. I assume these shutdowns are heat related because the tank is always 3/4 full. I have checked it in cool weather and learned the generator pickup tube in the gas tank is set at 1/4-3/8 tank to shut down the genny.
