WebJul 11, 2024 · In 1974, the Fort Steuben Mall opened featuring Sears, Kaufmann’s and, in 1975, Carlisle’s. Eventually 65 stores would occupy that space. The Hub was on the decline and merged in 1969 with L.S. Good, and the name was changed in 1978. In 1980 the store closed and that marked the end of an era.
