Bitlocker hibernate problem
WebNov 29, 2024 · I see I occasionally. No clue as to why it happens other than bitlocker uses the TPM and the TPM is closely tied to the hardware config. I found a true power cycle often clears the problem. The other thing I've found is to have *nothing* plugged into the laptop (except power), including a dock, during the first encryption .
